Authorizations for Minors to Travel Outside of Canada

Notarized letters of consent to travel are strongly recommended by the Government of Canada for minor children travelling alone or with one parent, friends, relatives or a group. Typically the parent(s) staying behind would need to have their signature(s) notarized.

To create a personalized consent letter recommended by the Canadian Government, click here – link: https://travel.gc.ca/docs/child/consent-letter_lettre-consentement-eng.pdf  Downloading this form may require you to install Adobe Reader. You can also download the MS Word version of this letter directly from the government website https://travel.gc.ca/travelling/children/consent-letter

Please bring the unsigned, completed form to your appointment with your identification as stated below.

Certified True Copies

We also certify copies of original documents. Please bring in the original document(s) and we can make true copies for you.

Letters of Invitation

If someone is coming to visit you in Canada from another country, their country (like Brazil) may require a notarized letter of invitation from you before they will issue a visa.

For more information on what needs to be in this letter, please visit the Government of Canada website, by clicking here

Please bring the unsigned, completed form to your appointment with your identification as stated below.
